We understand volunteering to be a program director or a coach can be daunting, so here are some valuable resources for you.

Program Director

  • Collect program fees from players and register school teams with our League Rep.

 

  • Distribute season schedule to Jr. Program Coaches

 

  • Communicate with parents about tryouts, season schedule, etc.

 

  • Distribute uniforms to Jr. Program Coaches

 

  • Serve as a floating coach at practices and a substitute coach at matches (if necessary)

Coaching Resources

Responsibilities

Assist in team tryouts and formation of teams based on skill

 

Attend basic skill development training provided by HS Coach

 

Distribute uniforms to players

 

Communicate with parents about season schedule, practices, etc.

 

Hold practices twice weekly

 

Coach during scheduled matches and end-of-season tournament

Positional Training

At this skill level, the priority should be developing all players in serving, passing, setting, attacking, and defending. If you feel some of your players can benefit from additional skill or tactical development, here are some additional skill-specific resources:
